INTENSIVE FARMING OF ALMOND, PISTACHIO OR OLIVE? SOLAR PUMPING IS THE SOLUTION
Ten years ago we began with the installation of trickle irrigation. We are extensive farmers and we began installing trickle irrigation for corn, alfalfa and other extensive crops in the north of Castile. That enabled us, without any fuss, to get to know first-hand the potential, problems and, of course, the "STATE OF THE ART" for this technology.
More recently we have installed trickle irrigation using solar pump in intensive nut and olive operations. As our father taught us, we have done this while applying a pragmatic approach; we are not well versed in abstractions such as "How do we deal with the problem of a passing cloud?" but are proponents of sufficiently oversizing installations so that they work at an acceptable level. What we can state is that our customers are happy with what we have installed.
For our part, on a professional level there is no greater satisfaction than bringing water and life to a place where once there was nothing but desert.
